"The assumption is often made that vapes produce smoke just like cigarettes. The fact is that in electronic cigarettes, what is produced is an aerosol or vapor resulting from the heating of a liquid, not smoke derived from the burning of tobacco as seen in conventional cigarettes," Khotib explained.
